The BGIS 2023 is the second season of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS), a national-level tournament for the battle royale game, BGMI. It is organized by KRAFTON, the developers of BGMI.

The prize pool for the BGIS 2023 is ₹2,00,00,000 INR, which is double the prize pool of the inaugural season. The winner of the tournament will take home ₹75,00,000 INR, while the second and third place teams will win ₹37,50,000 INR and ₹25,00,000 INR respectively. The top 16 teams will also receive prize money.
The tournament will be held in a three-stage format:
- Online Qualifiers: The online qualifiers will be held from August 10 to September 4, 2023. A total of 64 teams will qualify from the online qualifiers.
- Semi-finals: The semi-finals will be held from September 9 to 11, 2023. The top 16 teams from the online qualifiers will compete in the semi-finals.
- Grand Finals: The grand finals will be held on October 14, 2023. The top 16 teams from the semi-finals will compete in the grand finals.

The BGIS 2023 will be held in a six-stage format, starting with the in-game qualifiers on August 31st, 2023. The top 480 teams from the in-game qualifiers will advance to Round 2, which will be held from September 7th to 10th, 2023. The top 224 teams from Round 2 will advance to Round 3, which will be held from September 14th to 17th, 2023.
The top 64 teams from Round 3 will advance to the Quarter Finals/Round 4, which will be held from September 21st to 24th, 2023. The top 16 teams from the Quarter Finals/Round 4 will advance to the Semi Finals, which will be held from October 4th to 7th, 2023. The top 16 teams from the Semi Finals will compete in the Grand Finals, which will be held from October 12th to 14th, 2023.
